5 Months of Christmas

Enjoy the holidays knowing you’re fully funded for ministry in 2024!

The 5 Months of Christmas is a simple program for successful year-end funding. Follow the weekly MPD Made Simple emails September through January to ensure your funding is where it needs to be when 2024 arrives.

Download the 5MoC Quick Guide

Download the 5MoC Funding Letter Toolkit for the resources to help you mail and follow-up a year-end funding letter…and fund your ministry for 2024!

Overview

September

  • Mail a ministry update (newsletter or postcard)

October

  • Update your online giving page photo and bio in Workday (if it’s been nine months or longer)
  • Order current commitment cards and envelopes from navigatorstore.com (if you send your letter through prayerletters.com, request commitment cards through them)
  • Upload your funding letter draft to the MPD Team via navs.me/mpdmadesimple

November

  • Mail your physical year-end funding packet (funding letter, commitment card, and response envelope) to your entire mailing list, and mail one to the MPD Team (MPD, P.O. Box 6000, Colorado Springs, CO 80934)

December

  • Email a funding letter reminder that includes your giving link to all who received your letter
  • Call 10 ministry partners to follow-up on a giving decision (the intent is to have conversations with partners, not to leave voice mail messages)

January

  • Mail thank-you notes for year-end gifts

Prizes

You’ll be eligible for prizes when you complete monthly challenges and log them at navs.me/mpdm adesimple. The more monthly challenges you complete the more prizes you can win!

Postage Assistance

If postage costs could keep you from mailing a year-end funding letter, up to $100 in postage assistance is available. Contact mpd@navigators.org.
